The Preferring Pages is a home-based business owned and operated by the Gary Higginbotham Family. We are a Christian family who have been God-blessed with six children. We have home educated for 13 years and are committed to continuing, Lord willing.

Our family has a desire to help other Christian home-educating families who yearn for their family to work together. Many home educating families are feeling led by the Lord in this direction, desiring for the fathers to be at home and with their children more. They also aspire to teach their children how to be more independent of the world and to guard their children from being stained or lost by working in a worldly environment. Further, they hold a multi-generational vision, to be a Godly influence upon their adult children and grandchildren and hopefully work together with them as well.

By offering free advertising in a general listing, we hope to be able to support these families. As Christians we should desire to hire each others' services and purchase each others' products rather than supporting other businesses and people. This is one of the ways we can "build each other up."
